Fence Staining has always reminded me of home

There's something about fence staining that has always reminded me of home. Maybe it's the stain that we use to put on the deck every year or maybe it's the stain that allowed us to have our wooden fences around for years. Either way, that smell you get from staining a fence has a lovely quality to it that I find very alluring. Granted, I wouldn't recommend that you sit there and smell it as most fence stain tends to be rather toxic, but just getting a whiff of it isn't going to hurt you.
