Wood fence installation should have a bit of concrete
Wood fence installation requires you to use concrete, or some other extremely stable material to stabilize the wood in the ground. Wooden posts naturally move with the earth as it shifts, which is why you must have a solid object underneath it or attach to it to make it stand still. Now, this does not mean you have to have a full bag of concrete or more with each fence post, but you should have at least half the bag surrounding the post to make sure that it stays in place. You will get some movement, but no more than you would with any other fence post. The main thing you have to take care of on wooden fences is the staining, but that comes down the road about once every year or so.
